Another important aspect of Sorare is of course buying some Sorare player cards so that you can start to build a line-up to compete for prizes in the S05 tournaments.

How to buy cards

You can buy player cards via the Market – Cards section which is known as the primary market and this is where new cards are added onto the platform by Sorare themselves.

You can buy player cards via the Market – Cards section which is known as the primary market and this is where new cards are added onto the platform by Sorare themselves.

This works like an e Bay auction and as you can see in the screenshot for this auction for Robert Lewandowski has 10 hours 54 minutes left with the current bid £100.00.

You can make a bid by clicking the bid button at the bottom.

This will bring up the screen on the right. Where you can enter a bid amount in ETH or your local currency. Then just click bid to confirm your bid. You may get outbid of course before the end of the auction. If you decide to bid, the amount will be taken
from your Sorare balance, but if you are outbid, this amount will return to your Sorare balance.

There’s also the Market – Manager Sales section also known as the secondary market and this is where you can do some wheeling and dealing with other Sorare managers. You will find listed player cards by other managers here which you can choose to purchase at the displayed price or even make an offer at a price that suits you, whether the selling manager agrees to the fee is another matter.

To buy the card at the current price, all you need to do is click the buy button.

You can also click on the card to, and you then you’ll have the option to offer to buy the card at a certain price, again whether the manager accepts your
offer is another matter.

How to sell cards

You can also sell cards of course if you wish to do so and you can set the price at an amount you wish to sell for. The card will be listed for 48 hours, if they don’t sell you can always relist.

To list one of your cards on the secondary market all you need to do is click on a player card you own, which will bring you to the screenshot below.
